This has been a busy holiday season for us so far! Between my regular decorating clients and holiday decorating for Trees With Ease I have been basically living in my car and stores since Thanksgiving. But it's been a lot of fun transforming my clients homes for the holidays! I always love how Christmas decorations can make a house feel so cozy and inviting. Here are a couple of projects I recently completed. For 'Before' and 'After' pictures visit our Facebook page.
Gorgeous craftsman style house in Winchester, MA. We provided all the exterior wreaths with handmade bows which the client then hung.
Our client requested that we create a spot for her to hang all the Christmas cards she receives. We decided to use boxwood garland around the mirror to create a pretty backdrop for the cards to hang on.
I love using boxwood indoors. I love the look and it doesn't have sap that pine and fraser have so it's less likely that you will be left with a sticky mess on your walls or woodwork!
I designed this centerpiece for the dining table. I used boxwood garland with red berries as the base and then used mercury glass and a tall glass apothocary jar filled with ornaments and ribbon in the center of the display.
We delivered and decorated the Christmas tree for this client and also decorated the fireplace mantle and stair bannister. This client wanted a traditional red and gold theme. The tree skirt is velvet and is from Pottery Barn. I love how the colors tied in so well with her existing chairs. (You can see a peek of one of them in the lower right corner.)
We used poinsettias along with cedar garland and ornaments on the mantle.
All this tree needs now are some presents!
