Porch Renovations in Winchester, MA

I stopped in today to see the progress of a job I've been working on over in Winchester, MA. This client has a nice enclosed porch at the entrance of her house but it was in need of some added storage and some other upgrades. Here's a look at the Before and After (It's actually more of a Before and During, the coat hooks still need to be hung and the final coat of paint put on, but you get the idea.)

As you can see she needed storage for her sons shoes and a place for their coats. We also incorporated a storage area for recycling bins into the design.

On the left side, under the lid are two compartments for paper & bottle recycling and on the back wall is one large compartment for shoe storage.

I also wanted to incorporate the shelf which can be used for displaying art or other objects and the coat hooks (which will be installed under the shelf) into the design and give the entire look a cohesive built-in feel. I did this by adding the wall panel which runs from the top of the bench up to the top of the window line. This really helps to make the bench and shelf installation feel finished and unified.

Staging a Condo in Cambridge, MA

I'm hearing from brokers that the real estate market has picked up this year in our area and I think I have to agree! I just completed another staging job for a condo in Cambridge, MA on Thursday. The condo was completely empty so I needed to bring in furniture to define each room's function and make a potential buyer feel right at home. This condo is located near Central & Harvard Square so the location is fantastic for someone working in the city or going to grad school. Check out the Before & Afters below!

Home Staging in Lexington, MA

Wow, it's been a busy start to Spring! I'm loving it. This past week I finished up another staging project in a 3,000 sq. ft. home in Lexington, MA. Take a look at the Before and Afters below.
